What’s my thing. Well I’d have to think. Gimme a sec.
Rusted People
Brown rivers and grey skies.
Golden brown rushes and melancholy eyes.
Red and white striped. Lonely birds climbing clouds and dancing dances we’ll never know.
Green field, pure and just honest and contrasting against the sky above. Rolling rushes and rosemary fields herded with hedges like Persian carpets wallpapered against my window. I sit solitary behind glass in a box with wheels and people. People and wheels. Clouds scrawled across the sky and pour over the hills; in the distance a puffy vomit of an off white and a pale blue. Turquoise eyes staring at me from the grey wall of heaven – I know. Magnolia ruins lay scattered in the distance and remind me of that time. Green and golden trees defiant and proud against the city before them. Power lines connecting man and nature; little rectangular boxes; border dark green fill in the rest with a solemn green.
Red and white strips surround me tying up everything with urgency and confusion. Yellow blue red yellow orange yellow brown gold grey and scarlet. Opal times for dismal people. Stop it.
Little tunnels lead to abandoned rail way lines, leading to places forgotten but still there brown dark brown chocolate hedges with a kaleidoscope of green sprinkles of yellow and orange; hundreds and thousands. Red brick gummy bears, and brown sherbet ferns ash oak beach licorice sticks of cola and brown. Red and whites lines masking. Getting lost in a maze of undergrowth little lands discovered and conquered in joy and expected expiration. Plastic cows litter green linenel floors. Yellow and black arrows underpass danger to point safe. “Plush safe he think”. Tin roofs and hollow barns full of unwant and time; these rusted people. Tilling wooden fence the shamrock the checkered flag and the phone booth the blue door red and white don’t enter tyre tire. Bohemian bovines swaddle and sway the cud already chewed; the masts of ships look on and say why bother. Greens to blues. Yellows lines and red curtains. Green fence with yellow paint. Roof roof galvanize,
Associating colours and tastes I want to eat it lick it fondle caress.
